The top of the list is actual telephones that can be connected a Plain Ol Telephone Connection or the old fashioned DIY intercom. This was what TMOT was supposed to be not some modern proprietary stuff. The lower the list are the stereotypical “Office phones” that are basically glorified electronic devices that needs a “brain”, a controller or phone system beit a PBX or Key Telephone or a specific Voice over IP server. Office phones and home phones are not the same and cannot be connected to either one.
