Early on, they competed with Polycom with headsets. In fact I do have one that is in my pile of junk. Their own products had 3.5mm plugs and jacks, while Plantronics had their RJ-9 connections.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>But ironically, they were friendemies at some point in the 1990s.
